Eto ang dahilan kung bakit hindi pasok sa “SUPER SULIT” Si Tecno Pova 3!

The Tecno Pova 3 is indeed a good smartphone for its price pero we had to put this in the “Maganda na” and not in the “Super Sulit” rank for a few reasons.

DISPLAY

The display has a massive 6.9″ Full HD+ Display which is impressive and it also has a 90Hz refresh rate but little do you know that the 90Hz refresh rate is more of just a gimmick since the processor on this thing is not fast enough to drive more than 60FPS. It would’ve been better if they would have opted for an AMOLED. Plus the 90Hz refresh is much more power hungry which will eat up your battery faster.

Tecno Pova 3 Display

Also there is a huge punch-hole at the top of the display, this can be interpreted as a con for some people dahil nakaka disturb ang may punch hole sa isang smartphone but this is not the main reason why we didn’t put this in the “Super Sulit” ranking.

PERFORMANCE

The performance of the Tecno Pova 3 is not as impressive as I would hope it would be because of the Helio G88 honestly this chipset is not worth it if you have a high refresh rate display like the 90Hz display that comes with this phone.

The Tecno Pova 3 will be ranked as a “Super Sulit” Smartphone if this had a better chipset. The Helio G88 Processor is just a 10% bump in performance from the Tecno Pova 2’s Helio G85 Processor. It’s not gonna be enough to run higher than 60 FPS for most games. Due to the heavy competition with infinix especially with the release of the Infinix Note 12 G96, it’s pretty hard to recommend this if you’ve got that phone just blasting every other phone in the marketing out of the water. You’re just not gonna won’t feel the upgrade of this smartphone if you are coming from the Tecno Pova 2.

CAMERA

Pag dating naman sa camera this smartphone has a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor. It does take decent photos but do not expect the best of the best lalo na for the budget, it is a camera that just works for its purpose. Here are the sample shots that we’ve taken!

SAMPLE SHOTS

As you can see, the Tecno Pova 3 can capture decent photos the first image is well exposed and the details are quite good lalo na for under PHP 10K. Cameras are really evolving right now even in the budget smartphone category. Sa second photo naman you will see that it is overexposed it is quite hard to achieve a well exposed photo in just one click pero if you take your time you can get a better photo.

SELFIE CAMERA

The selfie camera is not as impressive even in a lit environment, you can see that the photo it took is not exposed very well and the colors are off. Kulang na kulang eto sa saturation and vibrance pero it will still be good if you just need a point and shoot selfie camera.

BATTERY AND CHARGING

The Tecno Pova 3 has a whopping 7,000mAh battery this can last very long lalo na if you are not going to play games in your phone it is less likely that you will need to charge this in a day of use! It also charges fast although it is advertised that the phone is charging 33W capable lang ang Tecno Pova 3 for 25W fast charging.

PRICING AND AVAILABILITY

You can now purchase this Smartphone right now at a starting price of PHP 8,999! Meron ding PHP 9,399 na option for the Tecno Pova 3 which is the special electric blue na variant. The blue variant is a beautiful design for the phone!
