OMG! Xiaomi Black Shark 6 prototype spotted at a local Chinese flea market

Xiaomi usually begins the month of March with fresh new gaming flagships. Well, guess what, we are almost halfway through the month, and not a word from Xiaomi

Very odd right? Yeah, but that hasn’t stopped insiders from listing the Xiaomi Black Shark 6 on the second-hand marketplace

Something weird is really going on at Xiaomi with this Black Shark 6 issue. Some people are saying that Black Shark, is having a hard time with employees and it’s struggling to produce products.

Towards the end of February, we still saw some leaks of the phone meaning there is a high chance that its still on the way.

The phone was listed on a Chinese second market called Youxianyu for CNY 3,900 (around ₱30,766). However, it will probably cost double the amount when it’s launched.

We also cannot really tell if the final design will be the same as the prototype, but it sure darn pretty close.

Specs

The purported Black Shark 6 smartphone seems to have a complete turn in the design of the camera bump and it also has a leather finish.

This would bring a breath of fresh air to the design language of the Shark 5 series, but there is no guarantee that these changes will be present in the final product. According to the listing, this variant will have 12GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

It’s interesting to note that the phone is listed with an older 64MP Sony IMX686 camera sensor. This would be more of a rip-off when you are paying flagship money.

However, it’s possible that this is exclusive to the prototype. The listing also confirms 120W fast charging, which is in line with Xiaomi’s most advanced devices.

What do you guys think? Is there more to this mystery regarding the final looks of the Black Shark 6? Or this is a case of a waiting game where we should wait for the proper announcement in order to confirm these leaks?
