Musk’s Twitter rebranding: The bird logo will be replaced by an X

Twitter is undergoing a major rebranding under Elon Musk’s ownership. The company is changing its name to X and getting rid of its iconic blue bird logo

This is the latest in a series of changes that Musk has made to Twitter since he acquired it last year.

This could be a step forward for the company towards the long-envisioned super app named X by Elon Musk to offer a wide range of services to the users. Last year, Elon Musk said that buying Twitter “is an accelerant to creating X, the everything all.” Similarly, Twitter’s new CEO Linda Yaccarino said that “X will be the platform that can deliver, well….everything.”

It remains to be seen whether the rebranding will help or hurt Twitter’s business. Musk has admitted that ad revenue is down 50% since he acquired the company, and it is unclear whether the rebranding will help to reverse this trend. Also, this rebrand will not be taken easily by netizens, knowing that Twitter has been around for so long

Update: Twitter owner Elon Musk has replaced the company’s iconic bird logo with a simple “X”.

The move was announced early Sunday morning, and the new logo was already live on Twitter’s website by Monday morning. Musk has said that he is “bidding adieu to the twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds.”

The company has used the blue bird logo for more than a decade, and it is instantly recognizable around the world. However, Musk has said that he believes the new logo is more “modern” and “representative of the company’s future.”‘

The rebranding comes at a time when Twitter is facing increasing competition from other social media platforms. Earlier this month, Facebook launched a new social media app called Threads, which has already surpassed 100 million user sign-ups in its first week.

Musk has said that he believes Twitter needs to make some changes in order to stay competitive. The new logo is just one of the many changes that he has planned for the company.
