Fake Nothing Phone (2a) render confirms initial camera design leaks!

The initial design leaks appear to be true, especially the camera placement and glyph.

Leaks should always be taken with a grain of salt because you’ll never know what’s real or not. That’s exactly what happened in the press render of Nothing Phone (2a), which was considered the real thing until it got debunked.

If you’ve been following this device, you’re aware that the latest render, before the debunking, has a bright color. Prior to that, a leaked render suggested something with a darker color. Between these two, the bright one is allegedly fake.

On X, formerly Twitter, popular tipster @evleaks expressed skepticism on the alleged “last minute redesign” of Nothing Phone (2a) for two reasons. First, the leak wasn’t a standard Foxconn-sourced, CAD-based leak. Second, the tagline “See the world through fresh eyes” seemed to contradict the white back panel.

As shown above, the tagline is more fitting on the black back panel as you can see the refreshing appeal of the new design. The modern and metallic vibe of the black panel is artistically driven by the white lights, camera placement, and pipe-like elements at the bottom half.

So, where did the fake render come from? According to a report, the white-colored render has existed before but for a Nothing Phone model that never came out.

Despite being labeled as a fake, the false render somehow confirmed the early leaks about Nothing Phone (2a). Live shots suggested that the dual-rear cameras are placed horizontally and the back panel gets a new glyph design; both looking consistent with the black panel.

But what do you think?
