POCO Pad certified: A rebranded Redmi Pad Pro for global release?

Select markets outside China may get the Redmi Pad Pro in POCO Pad.

It seems AI and rebrand are themes of this year. For example, the POCO Pad is the rebrand suggested by its FCC certification.

According to a report, the POCO Pad is the first tablet for POCO but a rebrand of the Redmi Pad Pro. That’s because the FCC listing showed that the Redmi Pad Pro and POCO Pad are identical tablets.

The listing noted the tablet with POCO as the brand and 2405CPCFBG as the model number. It resembles the details of the recently certified device with a model number 2405CRPFDL, reportedly as the Redmi Pad Pro.

Anyway, the POCO Pad is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, paired with 6/8GB of RAM, and 128/256GB onboard storage. It’s likely equipped with a 10,000 mAh battery and of course, 33 watts of fast charging support.

If you’re curious why the rebrand, the Redmi Pad Pro is the version for China while the POCO Pad is likely for select global markets. Which markets? That’s something we’ll know in the coming days.

As for the price, the POCO Pad is rumoredly priced at EUR 200 or ₱12,138.23 when converted. But take it with a grain of salt.

In the meantime, check out the full specs of the POCO Pad below.
