Huawei Nova Y70 PH Launch In 2 Days!

Despite being banned from India and recently in Canada, Huawei remains a competitive company. Their latest smartphone release, the Huawei Y70, will launch officially in the Philippines in 2 days.

Here’s the official teaser from Huawei’s Facebook page:

Previous Nova releases were known for their sleek and stylish design, and the company still is consistent when it comes to its latest release. The Huawei Nova Y70 is going to be available in three colors: Midnight Black, Crystal Blue, and Pearl White. We’d go for the Pearl White as it is the most premium-looking out of the three.

However, these premium-looking phones aren’t actually sold at a premium price. When it debuts on June 3, the phones will likely retail for PHP8300 more or less.

The phones come equipped with a 6000mAh battery, making these a great choice for consumers who prefer to use them for more than a day. With a battery that huge, you’re going to need a faster charger too. The good news is that the Huawei Nova Y70 comes with a 22-W fast-charging brick. It’s not the fastest out there, but considering its price point, you’re getting a good deal.

The whole deal of the phone is to provide consumers who primarily use it for general media consumption, that’s why it only has 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. This might disappoint some Android fans since, at its price point, other brands have already bumped up the RAM to 6GB.

It’s just a simple point-and-shoot with the triple camera setup in the rear panel. The 48MP main should be able to take decent photos in great lighting conditions, and the 5MP ultrawide will be extra useful in group photos or just your everyday scenic shots.

The 2MP depth cameras give portraits extra oomph with the bokeh effect. A capable 8MP selfie camera should provide enough clarity for selfies and Tiktok shorts.
