Redmi Note 12 to Launch in Latter Half of 2022

Xiaomi’s subbrand Redmi has been successful in providing customers with affordable devices in the entry-level and midrange section of the smartphone market. This time, they’re making another highly anticipated phone that will be released in the latter half of 2022.

The Redmi Note 12 is the successor to the popular Redmi Note series. Noteworthy of their releases was the Redmi Note 10 Pro back in April of 2021. It boasted of better battery life, an adaptable chipset, a great set of cameras, an AMOLED display, and a ton of other features that made it one of the best-selling phones of 2021.

The Redmi Note 12 will be available in 3 versions, assuming the company still follows its old pattern whenever they released Redmi devices. Consumers get to choose from either Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro, or Redmi Note 12 Pro Max.

According to phone insiders and Twitter leaks, the Redmi Note 12 series will be equipped with triple cameras, the same high-performance 120Hz display, and possibly SoC’s from the Snapdragon 600 or 700 series. Storage would be somewhere near 256GB, and RAM capacity to be around 12GB.

Leaks for the Redmi Note 12 has gone as far back as March of this year, which makes the release of this phone highly possible.

If that were the case, the Redmi Note 12 would be classified as an upper midrange with a lower price tag. As of now, there is no information on how much the phone will cost.
