TECNO Mobile’s phones are gaining traction in the entry-level and budget-level categories in the market, and they’re not showing any signs of stopping. Their most recent release was the TECNO POVA 3 which was a very competitive budget phone.
The company has decided that many people still need cheap phones that cost below five thousand pesos, so they made another one available to customers. The TECNO POP 6 is their newest offering for only PHP3,999. So if you’re looking for a good backup phone, or a phone you’d like to give to your children, then this is the phone to buy.
The TECNO POP 6 uses a speedy Mediatek MT6739, and a 2GB|32GB RAM-storage configuration. While this might seem too low, remember that the price is just PHP3,999. It runs a compatible Android GO version which will provide all the basic functions of a regular android phone without consuming too much storage space.
The phone will have a 6.1” display with an HD+ resolution, which is actually great. This phone may be an alternative viewing device if you don’t want screen burn on your main phone. It’s also equipped with a 5000mAh battery, a dual 5MP camera, a rear fingerprint reader, and a microUSB 2.0 port.
The phone is already made available in the TECNO official store in Shopee, and a pricing is already out. It’s only a matter of time before the launch, so stay tuned for more updates!
