Along with the release of the realme narzo gaming phones – the realme narzo 50A and realme narzo 50 – meron na namang race car, este, flagship-level phone ang realme. The realme GT Neo 3 is the newest and latest gaming smartphone with the fastest charging speed in the world!
At dahil nga mabilis, talaga namang hindi nagkulang sa design aspect ang creative team ng realme GT Neo 3. The most outstanding aspect of the realme GT Neo 3 is the Le Mans blue color scheme plus the two white stripes na usually found in racing cars. Here’s a side by side comparison of the phone with a race car.
As you can see, they almost have the exact color scheme although leaning towards velvet blue ang realme GT Neo 3. When facing the rear panel in a straight line, the color is consistent with Le Mans blue, but if tilting it sideways (or kahit anong direction), lalabas ang velvet blue.
We think this is a nice design choice since hindi textured ang likod and it relies on solid colors only, which actually works well for the realme’s third iteration ng GT Neo series.
Moving on from the backpanel, we can see that the two white stripes are aligned with the camera array, and realme’s tag line “Dare to Leap” located somewhere at the bottom. The overall surface of the rear panel feels matte-like, and should be less of a fingerprint magnet.
On the front, we have a hole-punch camere aligned center at the upper side of the screen. The company managed to minimize the bezels kaya naman mukahng sagad talaga ang screens. Nakakaexcite nalang isipin paano ang gaming and viewing experience sa phone na ‘to.
On the left edge of the phone is the volume rocker, which juts out by a few millimeters (no issue here), and on the right side is the lone power button with an integrated fingerprint scanner
Sa baba naman makikita ang charging port na USB-C, a microSD card and sim tray slot, speaker grills, at mic. The top edge contains an audio channel for calls and a smaller hole (probably the antenna). Overall, the design looks clean, and it doesn’t look bulky at all, despite weighing 188 grams. Magaan na ‘to for a premium flagship.
The realme GT Neo 3 is available in Le Mans Blue, “Silverstone” White, and “Go to the Dark” Black – all equally looking sporty.
The GT Neo 3 display is a Full HD+ 6.7 inches na display. Ibig sabihin lang nun, malaki ang display at malinaw ang screen. With a resolution of 2412 by 1080, it’s a great-looking display.
However, we’re going to be honest here – this type of display is found in some mid-range phones, but there are other flagships that outperform it – but regardless, this is more than enough for everyday gaming and social media needs.
We mentioned that the bezels on the realme GT Neo 3 were thin. Baguhin lang namin yun – it’s ultra-thin. It’s actually one of the thinnest bezels on a phone na ginawa ni realme so this is definitely a new experience.
To even improve the realme GT Neo 3 experience, the phone has a 120Hz refresh rate. While merong flagships that have even higher refresh rates, anything above 120Hz actually becomes less significant kaya naman pare-pareho na sa mata ng tao ang animation smoothness.
And here’s one more thing: kaya ng realme GT Neo 3 itaas ang 360Hz touch sampling rate to 1000Hz! San ka pa? The realme GT Neo 3 is definitely a gamer’s phone. You can expect to have better plays on this phone than any of realme’s previous releases.
The first thing we’d like to talk about is gaano kabilis mag charge ang battery ng realme GT Neo 3. The device comes with a 150W charger that can charge fast – like really fast. We’re talking 50% in just five minutes of charge!!! Equivalent na yan sa 3 or 4 long games sa Mobile Legends, and all it took was just 5 minutes!
The phone actually reaches 100% in just under 15 minutes. All thanks to the trademark Ultradart charging speed.
The realme GT Neo 3 has a Dimensity 8100 chipset. This chipset was only officially available this month, so we can expect a lot of features from the phone.
Bagong-bago ang chipset, so it has its ups and downs. But what consumers can expect from the realme GT Neo 3 are impressive gaming support, simultaneous front and rear camera recording, very sharp and detailed photos, as well as faster data speeds, just to name a few.
Of course the higher processor speeds will also mean higher battery consumption, and a lot of excess heat, but the phone manages to stay at an average temperature of around 40 degrees celsius. The warm parts are near the camera module where the processor sits close to.
Depending on the version, the realme GT Neo 3 might also come in Snapdragon 888, so we’re just waiting on the official announcements. The realme GT Neo 3 is using the latest realme 3 UI.
All other benchmark scores are not official, so we’re going to leave it out for our official product review sometime soon.
As for gaming, we’ve seen the phone run games on the highest settings possible. The bottom line is kayang-kaya ng realme GT Neo 3 na isagad ang settings ng Genshin Impact and the game will run smoothly. The phone was able to maintain a consistent 58 fps for 30 minutes total.
The realme GT Neo 3 also does well in PUBG – all settings are maxed out inside the game settings: frame rates and the highest resolution possible – and the phone maintained a solid 59 fps without massive dips in frame rates.
This should be under the display section, but the phone can actually take advantage of the phone’s 120Hz refresh rate kahit hindi optimized ang game for higher refresh rates. This is called motion interpolation.
Basically, yung 60fps limit ng Genshin Impact, pwede pa “itaas” sa 90Hz. Just imagine the visual experience – mas smooth ang transition animation, and you will also enjoy other games, hindi lang Genshin. Even movies.
Basing from the official specs of the realme GT Neo 3, the phone has a “diamond ice-core thermal system max” (trans. from CH) so it’s impressive that the realme GT Neo 3 actually wins based on how it controls heating. Tinalo ng realme GT Neo 3 ang redmi K50, which is another gaming phone that is race-car inspired.
Would we recommend the realme GT Neo 3 for gaming? Yes, absolutely. Kung gusto mo ng higher picture quality and smoother animation, then the realme GT Neo 3 is the best alternative to a dedicated gaming phone for 2022.
Hindi tinipid ng realme ang GT Neo 3 pagdating sa camera specs. The phone uses a Sony IMX766 sensor for the main camera with a 50MP sensor, an 8MP Ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro lens.
With this phone, you’ll be able to get all kinds of photos: indoors, outdoors, night time, low light conditions, portraits, macro shots, close-up and panoramic scenes. It all depends on what you want – maraming camera modes available sa realme GT Neo 3 and it’s up to you how you want to use it.
The rear camera can also record videos at 4K resolution up to 60fps. Zooming is also supported while in this camera mode. The 16MP front camera has a limit of 1080p at 30fps, which isn’t bad considering this isn’t a phone dedicated to photography.
