All about Xiaomi 13 Series: design, specs and pricing (maybe)?

With the upcoming official launch of the Xiaomi 13, we got to know the specs, design, and hopefully its price before it hits the shelves!

Ah yes, the superior feeling of knowing the latest in everything before anyone else. Thankfully, you found this article to fuel that rewarding emotion! Kidding aside, everything we know so far about the Xiaomi 13 Series is up for grabs right down below!

Xiaomi is almost ready to introduce its newest flagship models. On December 1, the business is scheduled to make the announcement about the new Xiaomi 13 series during the launch event, which will also be live-streamed on various social media platforms.

Two new models, the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro, are included in the range. Here is a summary of the rumors around these three phones.

Xiaomi 13 (the vanilla younger bro)

The Xiaomi 13 series will have a design that is comparable to that of all current Android phones on the market, to start off with the design.

The regular model will have a streamlined design with small bezels, flat aluminum edges, and a glass screen with a huge camera island on the back, despite the fact that there are still some variances in the overall design.

According to rumors, the 13 series could combine the 50MP sensor with a 32MP selfie camera, a 50MP telephoto sensor, and 50MP ultrawide sensors. Additionally, we anticipate at least one model to feature the Sony 1-inch 50MP Sony IMX989, most likely the 13 Pro.

The firm also declared the availability of new products using the just-announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. According to rumors, the Xiaomi 13 will be the first product to use the new platform.

The 13 Pro is anticipated to have a 6.7-inch display, 8/12 GB of RAM, and 128/256/512GB UFS 3.1 storage choices, however the rest of the characteristics are still rumored. The Xiaomi 13 is anticipated to include a 4,500mAh battery and enable 67W rapid charging.

Xiaomi 13 Pro (the cooler older child)

The Xiaomi 13 Pro is without a doubt the series’ most intriguing device. The smartphone has a similar design to the normal model, according to the most recent leaks.

However, the square-shaped camera module at the back, which holds a triple camera unit and an LED flash unit branded with the Leica logo, and the curved screen are expected to distinguish the two models.

A 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and QHD resolution is anticipated for the Xiaomi 13 Pro. The maximum brightness of the panels on both phones will be 1,900 nits.

The processor on both phones is another area of resemblance. Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will also be used by Xiaomi 13 Pro. According to the manufacturer, the LPDDR5X RAM will enhance performance by 33%, while the UFS 4.0 will provide 100% more speed on the pair.

A big 4,800 mAh battery with support for 120W fast wired charging and perhaps 50W fast wireless charging is said to be a feature of the Xiaomi 13 Pro.

With IP68 certification, the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro will be protected against water and dust. A speaker cutout, USB-C port, and a microphone are all located on the device’s bottom. The power button and volume rocker will be located on the right side.

Xiaomi also revealed that MIUI 14 would be unveiled in conjunction with the new flagships. On the other hand, it is not yet known if the devices will ship with this version.
