All-Filipino matchup dominate Dota 2 Finals of the APPL 2022 : Polaris Esports Wins!

Polaris Esports emerge victorious in the Dota 2 finals of the Asia Pacific Predator League 2022 which had turned out to be an all-Filipino battle

After an exceptional victory against the Australian team Boonz + Goonz and the Malaysian team ChubbyBoiz to secure their spot in the Top 4, Execration has affirmed its position as a Dota 2 powerhouse in the Asia Pacific Predator League Grand Finals.

TNC Predator, on the other hand, took down the rising Mongol squad Lilgun in the longest match of the tournament at 1 hour and 8 minutes. With the Top 4 being a 100% Filipino affair,

The four teams put on quite a show for viewers of the Livestream, with Polaris Esports rapidly eliminating GrindSky Esports and winning 41 to 14 in the end.

Long-time rivals Execration and TNC Predator also faced again, with Execration hoping to exact revenge for their defeat to TNC Predator on the opening day. Federico ‘Abeng’ Didican’s superb use of Mirana allowed him to score 18 assists while eliminating TNC Predator from the competition and helping Execration win.

The best players for Execration in the 28-minute victory were unquestionably Mark “Bob” Urbina and Justine “Tino” Grimaldo, who combined for 28 kills.

Due to a significantly stronger Day 2 performance, ArkAngel Predator was able to advance in the PUBG rankings. They were able to overtake the Korean team GNL and claim third position in the overall rankings thanks to a key third-place finish in the competition and seven kills on Map 8.
