Futuristic Apple products are on the horizon with a surprising fusion between iPad and Mac in the works.
Apple is certainly entering the mobile foldable market soon, an innovative step the company can’t ignore anymore.
But latest reports suggest two things in Apple’s 2026 lineup: one foldable iPhone and a fusion of two of its other popular devices. The latter is more exciting than the former because of its sheer size, functionality, and portability. It can easily attract professionals who have been using Apple devices for years.
We may see the very first foldable iPhone soon but the panel won’t be made by Apple. The firm will use the one from its biggest rival. Rumors revealed that Apple signed a supply contract with Samsung this year. Add the two-year development cycle, 2026 is the likely year for launch.
The other foldable is a fusion between an iPad and a Mac, with a massive 18.8-inch foldable panel and can shrink to 13 inches when folded. The final product is futuristic and likely capable of doing what iPads and Macs can do and perhaps more.
Hardware-wise, the foldable iPhone and iPad-Mac fusion are likely powered by Apple’s top-tier AI-centric chipset, given it has two years to develop and finalize everything. But the price of either device is surely through the roof.
In the meantime, everyone will be greeted by the upcoming iPhone 16 series with the Pro line capable of Wi-Fi 7.
The affordable iPhone SE model is rumored to launch next year with the fourth generation having a starting price of around PHP 28K (USD 499).
