Apple set to introduce new member.

Apple set to launch a new “member of the family” on February 19

Apple fans are in for a treat this Valentine’s Day courtesy of Apple CEO Tim Cook.

After weeks of leaks and rumors, Apple’s Tim Cook finally made the announcement on X that a new *wink wink* “member of the family” is coming on February 19. This announcement aligns with what Apple pundit Mark Gurman revealed a few days ago.

The post didn’t really give too much information on the device to be launched, but insiders believe that it’ll be the highly anticipated iPhone SE 4. Mark Gurman believes that the SE 4 will kick off Apple’s whole product line for 2025.

Is this Apple’s golden egg?

By finally releasing a worthy product to compete with the mid-range market, this could be exactly what Apple needs to boost their dwindling iPhone sales. Apple has been having trouble breaking into international markets for a time, and it’s unclear if the SE 4 will make up for the higher import costs of its larger siblings given the impending tariffs the US government has placed on Chinese goods.

Right now, anticipation for the iPhone SE 4 is building up, especially in the Philippines, where the market hasn’t seen an entry-level device from Apple since the iPhone SE 3rd generation, which still featured the outdated iPhone 8 design.

Would you buy the SE 4 when it comes to the Philippines?
