Arcane’s second and last season is airing this November, but more series based on Runeterra may come out in the future.
The schedule of the second season of the critically-acclaimed video game adaptation series is out! It’s also the last season of Arcane, but the series creators aren’t done yet with the League of Legends universe.
Arcane Season 2 will broadcast at different times around the globe and in the Philippines, it’s set to premiere on November 9 at 4 p.m. Like the first season, season two has three acts:
- Act 1: November 9 at 4 p.m.
- Act 2: November 16
- Act 3: November 23
According to series creators Christian Linke and Alex Yee, Arcane is just one of the many stories in the world of Runeterra. So, more series or even movies may come out in the future. We simply don’t know which stories they will pick after Arcane.
Arcane Season 1, which premiered in November 2021, received positive reception and critical acclaim. Rotten Tomatoes reported 100% approval and gave it an average rating of 9.10/10 out of 29 reviews.
The show also won Outstanding Animated Program and Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation at the 2022 Primetime Emmy Awards, and Best Adaptation at the 2022 The Game Awards.
It also set a record as Netflix’s highest-rated series within its premiere week. Of course, Arcane Season 2 will premiere on Netflix. Watch the trailer below.
