As we inch closer to the Zenfone 12 Ultra’s launch on February 6th, official pictures have surfaced, giving fans and tech reviewers a first look at the device.
ASUS already gave us a first glimpse of the device with a 15-second teaser published on X as part of its promotion of the Zenfone 12 Ultra’s debut. The teaser, which only showed the front screen of the device, features a large display with a single hole-punch camera. The clip also teased the device’s AI capabilities with what we could only assume was a call transcribing feature. One of many AI features that will surely be showcased in the launch.

Leaked Photos Show a Sleek, No-Gamer-Look Design
Recently, official photos for the Zenfone 12 Ultra have leaked, corroborating what was previously leaked. The photos confirm the device to be a much tamer and more elegant version of its gaming-focused brother, the ASUS ROG Phone 9 Pro. This will provide the consumers with a viable option for a flagship that doesn’t align with the ROG Phone’s flashy and gamer aesthetic.

Flagship Specs: Snapdragon 8 Elite, AMOLED, & More
While ASUS has kept mum on the specs of the upcoming flagship, reports have indicated that the device will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite with either 8 or 16 GB of high-speed memory depending on the storage configuration that could be spec’d up to 512 GB. The device is also rumored to borrow the same 6.78-inch 1080p 120Hz LTPO AMOLED display that came with the ROG Phone 9 Pro.
