OPPO is chugging things along their product line, now they are in the works for the OPPO Reno 9 Series, now with new IMX890 sensor, and an upcoming chipset
According to rumors, OPPO is developing the Reno 9 series, which could become official in November. Two smartphones, the Reno 9, Reno 9 Pro, and Reno 9 Pro+, are anticipated to be part of the portfolio.
The Pro phones’ specifications, however, are still a secret. According to a well-known Chinese tipster, OPPO is currently developing a new mid-range smartphone with an IMX890 main camera and MariSilicon X CPU.
A tweet on Weibo by renowned tipster Digital Chat Station indicated that OPPO is developing an unidentified mid-range smartphone that will feature Sony’s IMX890 sensor and the company’s own MariSilicon X chip.
For those who are unaware, it is an imaging-based chipset that the business independently conceived and created.
It is able to record 4K AI Night Videos with real-time RAW processing thanks to the MariSilicon X’s 6nm process technology, powerful NPU, sophisticated ISP, and multi-tier memory architecture, which offers unrivaled power efficiency and outstanding speed.
The purported OPPO mid-ranger will also have a curved screen with a center-punched hole, according to Mr. Chat Station. Additionally, the smartphone’s rear camera module will be configured similarly to the Reno 9 and will sport the “Deco design” of earlier generations of models.
It appears that the smartphone will be released in the premium mid-range market based on the information presented. It might make its debut for $300 to $400 ( roughly around ₱17,000 to ₱23,000). The smartphone’s official name is still a mystery, so hang tight and we’ll keep you posted once we gathered sufficient information.
