Xiaomi is set to replace the Xiaomi 12 series with the upcoming Xiaomi 13 on December 1. The series is expected to have the vanilla Xiaomi 13 and the Xiaomi 13 Pro for a start.
This may surprise some since several industry insiders and leakers anticipated Xiaomi will introduce its new series no earlier than 2023. It appears that Xiaomi has accelerated its processes in order to plan an early release.

Xiaomi must be trying to get an advantage over competitors because it might be running on the recently unveiled Qualcomm flagship chipset.
The Xiaomi 13 series has also been shown in a few online renders, which show its rear design and a few of its color options. According to a recent rendering, the devices might come in a premium-looking brown color with a leather finish. The triple rear cameras are housed on a rectangular camera island. As might be expected from products with a high price tag, the frame appears to be made of aluminum.
Xiaomi 13: Features Expected Specs
The Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro are expected to have a 6.2-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. They might be powered by Qualcomm’s most potent mobile processor to date, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which is manufactured using a 4nm process.
It might include a triple rear camera arrangement with a 50MP Sony IMX989 1-inch primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens as far as optics are concerned. The rear cameras’ Leica branding is confirmed by the renders.
The 32MP front-facing sensor might be used for video calls and selfies. The Xiaomi 13 Pro may launch with a 4,800 mAh battery and compatibility for 120W fast charging. They should come pre-installed with MIUI 13 based on Android 13 OS.
