After quite some time, Activision is finally porting the hit Call of Duty: Warzone to mobile territory…
Rejoice gamers, because this is about to go down! Call of Duty: Warzone is finally hitting the mobile realm after years of rumors and speculations. Activision’s VP for its mobile division Chris Plummer just announced it via their official Twitter page as stated below:
Numerous leaked sources months ago recently reported that CoD: Warzone was being tested as an Alpha version also known as Project Aurora.
What does this mean for mobile gamers? Finally, after being left behind and only had CoD: Mobile at their disposal, fans of the series can finally get the Warzone treatment they truly deserve. With much of the in game mechanics, maps, cool dynamics, ultra high graphics and up to 120 players per lobby, mobile gamers will finally get a taste of the franticness and the adrenaline pumping excitement Warzone delivers.
There are four rumored Activision Studios teaming up to make this game: Beenox, Solid State Studios, Digital Legends, and Activision Shanghai. If you’re already a Warzone player via PC, apparently you can still retain your progress through its mobile version. We are yet to know if Garena will still handle the Southeast Asian wing or Activision will take full reign.
Here’s to hoping that there are some smooth in game skill matching because we don’t want a beginner’s lobby jampacked with smurfs with Roze skins, carrying the meta-est of the meta guns for every season and just sniping every enemy possible in insane distances. Please no sweats, please no sweats!
How about you? Are you excited for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile? Or this is a trainwreck waiting to happen? You decide.
