Chrome’s new feature: Easily unsubscribe from annoying website notifications

Are you overwhelmed by a flood of unwanted website notifications? Chrome has the answer. With its new instant unsubscribe feature, you can quickly and easily opt out of notifications directly from your notification panel.

How it works:

  1. Receive a notification: When a website requests permission to send you notifications, you’ll see a notification.
  2. Unsubscribe: Simply tap on the “Unsubscribe” option within the notification itself.
  3. Notification removed: The website will no longer be able to send you notifications.

Pixel users will be the first to experience this handy feature, with it rolling out to other Android devices in the near future.

But that’s not all: Chrome’s enhanced Safety Check is also on the scene, automatically revoking permissions from deceptive websites that try to trick you into granting unnecessary access. This helps to keep your notifications clean and your device secure.
