CMF by Nothing is back, and it’s coming in hot with a fresh batch of hardware. The brand has officially locked in April 28 at 6:30 PM (IST) for the launch of the much-anticipated CMF Phone 2 Pro, along with not one but three new audio products—Buds 2, Buds 2a, and Buds 2 Plus. This launch marks the first-ever “Pro” smartphone under the CMF sub-brand. And based on the teasers so far, it looks like Nothing’s budget-friendly sibling is stepping up its game.
New wonderful things.

CMF Phone 2 Pro: Familiar Vibes, Fresh Twist
From the early peeks we’ve seen, the Phone 2 Pro still embraces that signature modular charm CMF teased us with in the first-gen model. There’s a visible screw on the back again—likely hinting at customizable rear panels, just like the Phone 1. CMF also describes the design as “textured, tactile, and different,” suggesting we’ll see a bolder aesthetic this time around. No word yet on the full spec sheet, but considering the “Pro” tag, we can probably expect more power under the hood—maybe even better performance and battery life than its predecessor, which launched at ₹15,999.
New Buds, New Strategy?
CMF is also rolling out three audio products: Buds 2, Buds 2a, and Buds 2 Plus. We don’t have a ton of info on what sets each model apart just yet, but it’s safe to assume that there’ll be varying tiers in sound quality, features, and price—possibly with one focused on budget-conscious buyers and another with ANC or gaming-friendly features. Knowing CMF’s previous track record with decent audio and pricing, these could shake things up in the affordable TWS scene again.
Where to Get It
As expected, everything will be sold via Flipkart, with landing pages for the new lineup already live. Pricing is still under wraps for now, but we should get more clarity as the launch date inches closer.
CMF is clearly trying to carve out a distinct identity within the Nothing ecosystem—focused on accessibility, personalization, and a little bit of flair. The Phone 2 Pro might just be the brand’s most polished take on that formula yet. We’ll be watching the April 28 event closely, so stay tuned for the full breakdown once these gadgets go official.
