vivo’s flagship phone, the upcoming vivo X90, is confirmed to have the latest processing prowess and a massive bump for its charging speed
The X90 Pro+ flagship of the vivo X90 series, which will launch in December, will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU and a premium camera. The vanilla version of the vivo X90, which will use the Dimensity 9200 chipset and allow 120W charging, was also given further information today.
The rumored specs come from Digital Chat Station on Weibo, and they also revealed the screen will be 1.5K, which is how 1220p panels are often mislabelled. The vivo X90 will also be the first vanilla smartphone from the X series to be IP-rated, so far only the Pro models had water and dust protection.
The Dimensity 9200 chipset is not yet announced but earlier today we saw an early benchmark, revealing a 26% overall improvement in raw performance. The vivo X90 will also have an increase in battery capacity – reports are pointing to a 4,700 mAh dual cell.
