Carlos Yulo will be bagging the latest iPhone 16 very soon.
When you’re a medalist in the Olympics, you get a lot of rewards and perks and some of them last a lifetime. In the case of Carlos Yulo, he didn’t just bag one but two gold medals in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
His victory guarantees various rewards including:
- A fully furnished condo valued at PHP 32 million from Megaworld Corporation.
- PHP 10 million in cash from the Philippine Sports Commission.
- PHP 3 million in cash from the Bounty Fresh Group Holdings Inc. and Chooks-to-Go!
- An iPhone 16.
- A lifetime of free engineering design by Nexa Engineering.
Did you see it? An iPhone 16! While we don’t know whether Yulo is getting a base or a Pro model, we know that the iPhone 16 is powered by the next-gen A18 chipset with 16 neural cores. The iPhone 16 Pro is powered by the A18 Pro CPU with 16 neural cores as well, but with six GPU cores instead of five.
All iPhone 16 models are built around Apple Intelligence. They also have the Fusion camera setup for the rear cameras: a 2-in-1 implementation where the main sensor can do 2x telephoto functionality.
