The upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 9500 has reportedly achieved a score of over 4 million points on the unreleased AnTuTu v11 benchmark. This leaked score, shared by tipster Digital Chat Station, represents a new performance record for mobile chipsets. For context, the current top-tier flagships are scoring around 2 million points on AnTuTu’s V10 version.

Dimensity 9500’s Score & Context
The record-breaking score comes with an important caveat. The test was performed on engineering devices from major manufacturers (likely Vivo and Oppo) that were configured with 1TB of next-generation 4-lane UFS 4.1 storage. This advanced storage system likely contributes a significant portion to the overall score.
Core Architecture and Launch

The Dimensity 9500 is rumored to be built on TSMC’s 3-nanometer process. Reports on its core architecture are mixed, with some suggesting a 2+6 core design (two Cortex-X930 and six Cortex-A730 cores), while others point to a 1+3+4 configuration.
The chipset is expected to launch in September 2025, just before Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, giving MediaTek an early lead in the next generation of flagship devices.
Who do you think will ultimately have the best-performing flagship chip of the next generation?
