Doogee V Max: 22,000mAh battery and night vision capable phone leaks

Not satisfied with the current budget phone market’s chipset of choice? How about the 5,000mAh battery, still not enough? The Doogee V Max might resolve all of your first-world woes, finally

The Doogee V Max will have a sizeable battery and a strong list of specifications. The Doogee V Max will have a 6.58″ FullHD+ 120Hz IPS LCD display protected by Gorilla Glass, a notch for the 32MP front-facing camera (Sony IMX616, 90° FOV), and a back panel with a leather-esque finish that draws design cues from vintage Vertu phones.

A 108MP primary camera (Samsung S5KHM2SP03), a 20MP night vision camera (Sony IMX350), and a 16MP ultrawide camera make up the triple camera system on the back. The final one will allow you to take macro photos with a 130° FOV and autofocus.

Two flashes on the left and two infrared night vision lights on the right flank these shooters. Under the hood of the Doogee V Max is the Dimensity 1080 SoC, along with 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage that can be expanded using TF cards and 12GB of RAM (virtually expandable to 19GB).

The smartphone will come pre-installed with Android 12, but it is unknown how many OS updates it will receive.

The Doogee V Max’s massive 22,000 mAh battery, which can be charged at up to 33W through a USB-C port, is the device’s main selling point. When it is released, it will probably unseat the 21,000 mAh-capable Oukitel WP19 rugged smartphone as the smartphone with the largest battery.

According to what we’ve been told, the Doogee V Max’s 22,000 mAh battery will last 6–10 days under “normal use,” 100 hours of talk time, or 64 days of standby. The Doogee V Max will be 27.3mm thick, which is expected for a phone with that large of a battery. It is not surprising that it weighs a lot because of its enormous battery.

The Doogee V Max also has NFC (with Google Pay support), a side-mounted fingerprint reader, and 5G connectivity. In addition, the V Max will have a customizable key on the left side and will be IP68/IP69 and MIL-STD-810H certified.

It also adheres to the Japan Audio Association’s High-Res Audio standards. The Doogee V Max will be available in three colors: Sunshine Gold, Classic Black, and Moonshine Silver.
