Binge watching favorite series is a thing but subscriptions are expensive, leading to many to stream via illegal sites. That said, an era ends as Dramacool shuts down its websites.
On November 27, Dramacool confirmed on X that all of its five websites are shutting down due to copyright issues. The platform also apologized to everyone who loved and supported the sites.
Redditors shared their sympathy and expressed loss over the decision. But one user said that when one site shuts down, two more will take their place. Of course, some are asking others of alternatives where to watch their favorite shows.
Illegally streaming movies and series comes with risks but viewers keep on supporting them. More often than not, fans are more irritated with the floods of ads instead of the risks. But the main reason why they resort to this is the pricing of subscriptions on legit platforms.
