Studio-level portraits in a mobile phone are possible when the HONOR 200 Series lands on PH shore.
When we talk about “killer” phones, one of the things that comes into mind is a flagship killer, famous for having a powerful processor that can keep up with flagship models. But we hardly see other types in the market.
HONOR has a very ambitious take in the form of a DSLR killer. The brand will soon offer the HONOR 200 Series and its studio-level portrait camera to the public.
The HONOR 200 smartphone features a triple-rear camera setup with a 50 MP Sony IMX906 main sensor, 50 MP telephoto sensor, and 12 MP ultra-wide and macro lens. The rear camera setup also supports dual OIS. The selfie camera is a 50 MP sensor with optimized lighting algorithm.
For better photography prowess, check out the HONOR 200 Pro that boasts a better 50 MP H9000 main sensor. Besides that, this model sports two selfie cameras in 50 MP and 2 MP sensors.
The HONOR 200 Series has three versions in HONOR 200, HONOR 200 Pro, and HONOR 200 Lite. The series debuted in Paris, France on June 12, but the official arrival in the Philippines is yet to be confirmed.
As of writing, the HONOR 200 Series is available in Malaysia.
