The much anticipated Redmi Note 12 Series’ release is just around the corner, and here’s what we (officially) know so far
Since the Redmi Note series from Xiaomi has been such a great hit, the firm is now preparing to introduce the all-new Redmi Note 12 series. The Redmi Note 12 series will have rapid charging, as we previously mentioned a few weeks ago. The flagship Redmi Note 12 model will include 210W fast charging.
In retrospect, here’s the specs of the three Note 12 variants:
Redmi Note 12 Series
Note: all three variants will have the new MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset.
Redmi Note 12 Pro (or just Redmi Note 12)
Flat OLED display, 5,000mAh battery + 67W fast charging, 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera with OIS
Redmi Note 12 Pro+
This will also have a Flat OLED display, 5,000mAh battery + 120W fast charging, 200MP Samsung ISOCELL Bright HPX with OIS
Redmi Note 12 Explorer Edition
Flat OLED display, 210W fast charging, 200MP Samsung ISOCELL Bright HPX (OIS capability not yet confirmed)
The Redmi Note 12 Pro is available in two finishes: “Time Blue” and “Shallow Dream Galaxy.” Xiaomi has opted for a softer color scheme than the previous series. Similar to the Redmi Note 11 series, Xiaomi produces the Redmi Note 12 series, which is powered by a MediaTek processor.
According to Xiaomi, improvements have also been made to the camera software. The Redmi Note 12 series will have an enhanced night mode and more effective noise reduction for images.
Redmi Note 12 can be charged at 67 Watt, followed by Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ at 120 and 210 Watt, respectively. The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ will be the first Xiaomi phone to use 210W charging technology, which was previously only available on some of the company’s devices.
If you’ve noticed, Xiaomi has never included a picture of the latest phones’ fronts in promotional posters. Although it hasn’t been confirmed yet, reports claim that the Redmi Note 12 Pro has a curved display. On October 27, all smartphones will go on sale.
