The deca-core Exynos 2500 is heading to Europe and other regions when Galaxy S25 rolls out.
The Exynos 2500 is definitely launching because a Samsung Galaxy S25 smartphone powered by this flagship processor has surfaced on Geekbench.
The alleged European variant of the Galaxy S25+ was spotted with the model number SM-S936B. It’s powered by a 10-core processor with a base frequency of 1.8GHz and four clusters:
- 1 x 3.30 GHz
- 2 x 2.75 GHz
- 5 x 2.36 GHz
- 2 x 1.80 GHz
With a 10-core CPU and 12GB of RAM, the device scored 2,359 points on single-core performance and 8,141 points on multi-core performance. Here’s a comparison table with its competitors:
Exynos 2500 | Dimensity 9400 | Snapdragon 8 Elite | |
Single-core | 2,359 | 2,711 | 3,127 |
Multi-core | 8,141 | 8,632 | 9,509 |
According to a report, the graphics is the Xclipse 950 based on AMD’s RDNA architecture with support for Vulkan 1.3. This version has the new features, such as dynamic rendering and improved synchronization API.
If you’re worried about the numbers of Exynos 2500, don’t be. The values were obtained from an internal test of an early software build. The numbers would likely go up in the final build.
So, the pattern is sustained in the Galaxy S25 Series. The US will get the Snapdragon 8 Elite variants while others will have the Exynos 2500-powered models.
Let’s hope that the Exynos 2500 is better and more efficient than Exynos 2400 as speculated in earlier reports.
