When Infinix released the XPAD 20 almost four months ago, we thought that was it. The bigger XPAD GT was the flagship, while the XPAD 20 was the more budget friendly option. But it seems that Infinix isn’t done with the tablet segment just yet.
After all, the gap between the two is like night and day, but what if you wanted something right in the middle? Well, now you finally have a choice with the Infinix XPAD 20 Pro.

Unboxing

We’re not sure if this will be the final retail box but if it is, it’s definitely big! But what do you expect? With a package that’s filled to the brim, it’s bound to have a large footprint.
Inside that large package lies not just the Infinix XPAD 20 Pro itself, but also the free X Pencil 20 and the XPAD 20 Pro Keyboard. Infinix definitely does not mess around when it comes to accessories.

As for the Infinix XPAD 20 Pro’s main box, it contains the following:
- The Infinix XPAD 20 Pro itself
- Folio Case
- 18W Charging Brick
- Type-A to Type-C cable
- SIM Ejector Tool
- Quick Start Guide and Safety Information

Premium Feel Without Breaking the Bank
Similar to its bigger sibling, the XPAD GT, the Infinix XPAD 20 Pro features an ultra slim metal body that places it a step above the more budget conscious version. In the XPAD 20’s defense, it did have a bunch of wacky colors that definitely catch the eye of whoever sees it.

Speaking of colors, the Infinix XPAD 20 Pro only comes in two, but very attractive, colorways: Mist Blue and Titanium Grey. While not as playful as the non-Pro version, it embodies the “Pro-ness” of the XPAD 20 Pro, especially with its all-metal build.

A bit about that all metal unibody design, it’s amazing how far we’ve come from the chunky tablets of yesteryear. Now we have tablets like the Infinix XPAD 20 Pro measuring just 6.58mm thin and weighing only 545 g, all in a package that feels premium but doesn’t cost like one.
You’ll find all the buttons at the right side (when held vertically), a microphone pinhole, and the SIM ejector tool. With the 4 speaker stereo setup divided into the top and the bottom. You’ll also find the USB Type-C port at the bottom.

Pair that with the free keyboard and pencil, and you’ve got yourself an instant laptop and drawing board when you need it, letting you easily switch between work and play with just one move.

Big, Bright, and Built for Both Work and Play
At the forefront of that work and play dynamic is the massive 12-inch 2K display, offering users a large canvas for productivity and an immersive experience for entertainment. But what good is a large display if the experience is jittery? Thankfully, the 90Hz refresh rate solves that, making scrolling, gaming, and watching buttery smooth.

Of course, long hours of use can strain your eyes, which is why Infinix equipped the display with TÜV Rheinland Dual Eye Care certification, reducing eye strain. No longer will you hear your parents say, “‘Yan! Kakaselpon mo ‘yan!“

Reliable Power with a Familiar Heart
For the chipset, Infinix stayed on team MediaTek for the XPAD 20 Pro, going with the Helio G100 Ultimate processor, coupled with either 4GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

I know some of y’all might clown Infinix for using the immortal Helio G100, but manufacturers love the Helio series for a reason, mainly its excellent power efficiency while still delivering enough muscle for daily tasks, hybrid work, gaming, and media consumption.

Like the non-Pro XPAD 20, the Infinix XPAD 20 Pro has 4G LTE All Day Connect, letting users stay mobile without depending on Wi Fi, a must have feature for students who don’t always have access to high-speed internet.
All Day Juice, Slow to Fill
Underneath that sleeks all metal build lies an 8000 mAh battery that’s good for a full day of mixed-use including browsing, note taking, and streaming. You might think a tablet this size should have a bigger battery, but higher capacity doesn’t always mean longer life.

Some tablets pack larger batteries but still fail to last the day. That usually comes down to a power-hungry chip or inefficient software.

If there’s one small gripe, it’s with the charging speed. The Infinix XPAD 20 Pro only supports 18W wired charging, which means it can take a while to fill up that large battery.
Not for Photography, but Gets the Job Done
We’ve said this before, tablets aren’t usually the best devices for photography. Still, the Infinix XPAD 20 Pro’s 8 MP rear and 5 MP front cameras can take respectable shots.

It can struggle under harsh sunlight or low light conditions, but for snapping documents or school assignments, it does the job just fine. Oh, and for videos, it can record up to 2K at 30fps.

Smart Features for Smarter Use
Like the standard XPAD 20, the Pro model is marketed as a work and study buddy, which is why it comes with several AI features headlined by Folax, Infinix’s voice assistant. Through Folax, users can do content searches, on screen queries, photo-based problem solving, and image to document conversion.

It also includes AI Drawing, AI Screen Recognition, and Hi Translation. For creatives, there are tools like AI Writing and AI Art. We didn’t get to test all of them, but from what we’ve tried, it seems like a solid AI package.

For those born in the early 2000s, you might remember how every family had a shared desktop computer in the living room for everyone to use. Think of the Infinix XPAD 20 Pro as the 2025 version of that, especially with the included Learning Center app, an educational platform tailored for kids aged 2 to 16.

Pair that with the keyboard and X Pencil 20 Pro, and you’ve got a tablet that practically pays for itself the moment you start using it.
Initial Thoughts
When we first heard about the Infinix XPAD 20 Pro, our first reaction was pretty much, “Wait, another one?” But after taking a closer look, it actually makes a lot of sense. The original XPAD 20 was already a solid entry level tablet, while the XPAD GT was clearly aimed at power users and creatives who wanted something top tier.

The XPAD 20 Pro looks like it wants to bridge that gap, giving you the same premium look and feel as the GT, but without the premium price tag. It’s meant for students, office workers, or casual users who want performance, portability, and style in one device.
So far, it feels like Infinix finally found that sweet spot between budget and high end. The question now is, did they pull it off? We’ll let the people decide.
