Samsung hasn’t officially announced the Galaxy F70 Pro yet, but the phone is slowly leaving a trail of clues. After appearing in certification databases over the past few months, the upcoming device has now surfaced on Geekbench, confirming several key hardware details ahead of its expected launch.
Rather than introducing an entirely new platform, Samsung appears to be building the Galaxy F70 Pro on familiar hardware. The benchmark listing points to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, the same processor found inside the recently launched Galaxy M47. That makes the F70 Pro look less like a brand-new device and more like another member of Samsung’s expanding family of value-focused mid-range phones.
The Geekbench database also reveals 8GB of RAM and Android 16 on the tested unit. While Samsung could introduce more memory options later, these specifications already suggest the company is targeting users who prioritize everyday responsiveness over flagship-level horsepower. The device recorded 998 points in Geekbench’s single-core test and 3,090 in multi-core, numbers that fall within the expected range for Snapdragon 6 Gen 3-powered smartphones.
If earlier reports are accurate, Samsung isn’t trying to reinvent its mid-range formula.
The Galaxy F70 Pro is expected to pair its Snapdragon chipset with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate, while a 6,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging should handle day-long use. Camera duties are said to revolve around a 50MP main sensor, although Samsung has yet to reveal the complete imaging setup.
One area where the phone could stand out is software support. Leaks suggest Samsung plans to offer up to six years of Android OS upgrades, alongside One UI based on Android 16. If true, that would make the Galaxy F70 Pro one of the better-supported devices in its class.
Samsung’s Galaxy F series has traditionally targeted buyers in India and other budget-conscious markets, where battery life, software longevity, and dependable performance often matter more than flagship features.
That’s also where the “Pro” branding comes in. Previous Galaxy F Pro models have typically offered upgrades such as a smoother display, faster charging, and a more premium design compared to the standard versions. The Galaxy F70 Pro looks set to follow that same formula rather than chase flagship specifications.
Samsung still hasn’t confirmed when the Galaxy F70 Pro will arrive. However, with firmware development, certification appearances, Bluetooth SIG approval, and now Geekbench all pointing in the same direction, its official debut may not be far off.
