Galaxy S25 and S25+ might have Dimensity 9400 processor instead of Exynos and Snapdragon

A recent statement from Google Deepmind has fueled speculation that Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 and S25+ smartphones will feature the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset.

Samsung Galaxy S25 and S25+ processor will be the Dimensity 9400

This would mark a significant departure from Samsung’s traditional use of Exynos and Snapdragon processors in its flagship devices. The Dimensity 9400, known for its efficiency and performance, could offer a much-needed upgrade for the Galaxy S series.

While the official confirmation is still pending, the reference to “Dimensity Flagship 5G used in Samsung mobile phones” in Google’s statement strongly suggests that the Galaxy S25 series might be the first to adopt a MediaTek Dimensity 9000-series chip.

This potential shift aligns with Samsung’s recent decision to use the Dimensity 9300+ in the Galaxy Tab S10 series, indicating a growing openness to MediaTek’s flagship processors.
