The core of the S25 FE’s strategy appears to be a calculated blend of recent flagship power with some smart feature trade-offs. The headliner is the inclusion of the Exynos 2400 chipset, the same SoC that powered the Galaxy S24 and S24+ this year. Paired with 8GB of RAM, this configuration should handle demanding apps, multitasking, and mobile gaming with ease.

Beyond the Processor: A Refined Experience

While the chipset is a major highlight, the leaks confirm Samsung is not cutting corners on the user experience. The S25 FE is said to feature a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. It’s a panel designed for crisp visuals and durability, a combination that has become a staple for premium devices.

The camera system also echoes the flagship theme, with a triple-lens setup led by a 50MP main sensor with OIS. This is complemented by a 12MP ultrawide and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, offering a versatile shooting experience. For selfies, a 12MP front camera is a welcome upgrade.

The new Fan Edition model is also rumored to be a little bit thinner and lighter than its predecessor. And despite the thinner design, it is said to have a larger 4,900mAh battery that supports 45W wired and 15W wireless charging, providing an additional boost in battery life.

Pricing and Release

The European retail listing showed a price of €789.99 (approximately ₱52,312) for the 128GB model. Meanwhile, leaks for the U.S. market suggest a starting price of $649.99 (approximately ₱37,084). This pricing positions the S25 FE as a compelling option for those who want flagship-level performance and features without paying a premium price for the more powerful Galaxy S25 and S25+ models. While Samsung has yet to officially announce a release date, a number of sources suggest a September launch, potentially at IFA 2025 in Berlin.
