As we inch closer to the rumored January launch of the Samsung Galaxy S25 series, the leaks and rumors continue to intensify. The latest revelation from renowned tipster Ice Universe suggests that Samsung may opt for a unified chipset strategy, powering all models in the series with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite.
This departure from the previous Snapdragon/Exynos split, as seen in the Galaxy S24 series, could be attributed to reported yield rate issues with Samsung’s Exynos 2500.
Despite the chipset consolidation, Samsung is expected to introduce a diverse lineup of four devices: the standard S25, the larger S25+, the premium S25 Ultra, and a more compact S25 Slim, which is anticipated to arrive in the second quarter of 2025.
