GCash recently announced the rollout of Tap-to-Pay, a new feature leveraging NFC technology to facilitate contactless payments at transit terminals and participating merchants.
This innovation streamlines the payment process, enhancing user convenience and reducing transaction times.
To activate Tap-to-Pay:
- Launch the GCash application.
- Navigate to the “View All Services” section.
- Locate and activate the “Tap to Pay” feature within the “Pay” section.
Note: Functionality is contingent upon a device with NFC capabilities.
