The tip came from a leaked internal roadmap that labeled the date as a “Marketing milestone” connected to the upcoming launch. Multiple reports, including from 9to5Google and Android Authority, back up the claim.
However, the leak doesn’t confirm if the public release will happen on the same day. For now, it seems the announcement will mark the start of a new rollout phase for Gemini.
What We Know So Far
Gemini 2.5 Pro, Flash, and Flash Lite currently lead Google’s AI lineup. The arrival of Gemini 3.0 would naturally be the next step, but not necessarily a massive change.
Details about new features remain under wraps. Still, early reports suggest Google could be working on faster response times, better context memory, and smarter task handling to compete with other AI leaders.
While Google has not officially confirmed anything yet, industry watchers believe Gemini 3.0 is being built to improve speed and consistency in real-world use.
Improved reasoning, context awareness, and performance would help Google close the gap with other leading AI models like ChatGPT. The rumored October 22 event also shows Google’s growing confidence in maintaining a steady AI release cycle.
