Globe Business officially launches the 2025 edition of its “Connected Success” video series. This year’s series shines a spotlight on leading industry figures who are actively shaping the future of Philippine enterprises through purposeful innovation and bold leadership.

Anchored on the company’s core campaign message of courageous transformation, this year’s “Connected Success” aims to inspire organizations to go beyond surface-level change and embrace deeper, more intentional shifts. This involves strategically leveraging technology, empowering teams, and fostering critical cross-sector collaboration.

The series opens with an episode from KD Dizon, Vice President and Head of Globe Business. Dizon shares her perspectives on how leadership rooted in clarity, conviction, and connection is essential for building future-ready businesses amid today’s fast-changing economic, technological, and environmental challenges.

“In today’s evolving business landscape, staying still is no longer a safe option as it puts companies at risk of falling behind,” Dizon said. “Through Connected Success, we are sharing practical strategies from across industries, but more importantly, challenging leaders to rethink what’s possible and act with courage even before all the answers are clear.”

“Connected Success” addresses the heart of today’s enterprise challenges, featuring top executives and experts from various sectors who will unpack transformation strategies fit for the industry leaders of today. The series will provide perspectives on crucial topics – from supply chain resilience and digital financial inclusion to the integration of AI in the workplace.

Apart from Dizon, joining the series is government leader and social enterprise advocate Mary Jean Pacheco, Undersecretary for the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), who tackles adaptation in the face of global disruptions. “Technologies will not replace humans,” Usec. Pacheco highlights, “We need to invest in people.” She discusses the importance of workforce development for businesses to effectively and sustainably leverage AI tools towards digital transformation, while also championing the government’s pivotal role in strengthening supply chain resilience through interoperability.

Meanwhile, Patricia Poco-Palacios, President and CEO of Global Dominion Financing, Inc. (GDFI), sheds light on the financial sector and how leaders should be open to new ideas in infrastructure adoption towards building greater digital financial inclusion in the Philippines. She shares that digital transformation – such as faster internet speeds and open finance – allows institutions to reach the unbanked and underserved markets, empowering communities through accessible financial services. She says, “If digital tools can lower our overhead costs, we can then pass on those benefits to our clients, which will enable even better access.”

Finally, Haidee Enriquez, President of the Contact Center Association of the Philippines (CCAP) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MicroSourcing, confronts the conversation around AI and automation. Her powerful mantra—“Humans plus AI, not humans versus AI”—resonates throughout her discussion. Enriquez also believes that our IT-BPM’s global competitiveness would have taken a hit without the steps that the industry has taken in digitalization. In her episode, she goes over workforce transition and discusses enhancing productivity in the IT-BPM sector, reframing the narrative from fear of the unknown to talent optimization and fulfilling workplace environments through the strategic integration of AI tools.

While each episode focuses on challenges unique to its sector, they are all connected by a shared theme: transformation is about bold leadership, a forward-thinking mindset, and the courage to shape the business landscape rather than merely respond to it. The series highlights how strategically leveraging technology, including the growing capabilities of AI, is an essential part of this courageous shift.

Now in its second year, “Connected Success” underscores Globe Business’ continued role as an enabler of long-term business success. What started as a content series has evolved into a platform for co-creation, reflection, and forward-thinking. It promotes open dialogue between industries and presents real-world applications of digital innovation. Each conversation is designed to help enterprises stay connected to evolving challenges, informed by cross-sector perspectives, and committed to building a resilient, future-ready business environment that embraces digital advancements and the intelligent tools they offer.
