Leaks for the Google Pixel 10a are stacking up as the rumored release nears, giving us a clearer (though mixed) look at what to expect from Pixel’s next mid-range phone. Recent certification and leak data suggest the 10a will arrive with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen capable of 60 Hz to 120 Hz refresh rate, backed by a 5,100mAh battery, 8 GB RAM, 128 GB storage, and a dual-camera setup.
Pixel 10a render design

According to renders shared online, the Pixel 10a looks very similar to its predecessor, Google Pixel 9a, with a familiar design: flat sides, a dual rear camera bar, and a plastic back rather than glass. This suggests Google will not push for flashy design changes this time.
On paper, the battery and display look solid for the price; the 5,100mAh cell gives room for all-day use, and the variable refresh rate panel should keep daily scrolling smooth while saving battery when high refresh is not needed.
That said, the 10a might not bring major performance upgrades. Evidence points to the phone using the previous-generation Tensor G4 chip rather than the newer Tensor G5 found on the main Pixel 10 series. Reviews of the leak also note missing features compared to pricier Pixel models: no telephoto lens and no Magic Cue (Google’s on-device AI feature for calls and chats).
Do you think the Pixel 10a using the older Tensor G4 chip is a deal breaker?
