Google Pixel Fold Fold launched as their most expensive phone so far!

Google has recently launched its first folding device, the Google Pixel Fold, which transforms from a compact 5.8-inch phone into a 7.6-inch tablet, providing users with a spacious screen for running apps, watching videos, and playing games.

This kind of device design offers a lot of flexibility, allowing users to easily switch from a phone that can be easily used in one hand to one that provides a giant screen for reading, using apps, or watching videos.

In addition to its flexibility, the Pixel Fold also boasts impressive features such as two OLED panels with 120Hz refresh rates, ultrathin glass covering the inner screen, and a 1080 x 2092 pixel outside screen that can hit up to 1550 nits of brightness, and a 2208 x 1840 pixel inner display that hits up to 1450 nits. It also has the same Tensor 2 processor found in the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro, paired with 12GB of RAM and comes in either 256 or 512GB of storage.

One of the most exciting things about the Pixel Fold is its potential to replace multiple devices in your life while still being as portable as the phone you already have. It’s also a visually impressive device that offers a certain wow factor that rectangular slab phones can’t match.

Though it’s Google’s first attempt at a folding phone, the Pixel Fold is a solid entry in the market, and as Google continues to develop Android as a platform, it’s likely that the company will have a significant impact on this category. While it may be a niche and expensive device, it represents a significant step forward in what a mobile phone can be.

Pricing and availability

Priced at $1,799 which is around Php 100,108, the Fold will compete directly with Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 4, and preorders are already open starting from May 10th, with shipping scheduled for June.
