Tackle missions like never before with next-generation realism on Grand Theft Auto VI.
Hinted by a former game designer at Rockstar Games, Grand Theft Auto VI is likely to set a new standard in open-world games. Although no specifics were revealed, players will have more freedom when doing missions, letting players do almost anything.
In open-world RPGs, not many titles let you finish missions so flexibly due to constraining factors, including game engine and the base framework. However, freedom of movement has been done before in select titles.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim permitted players to walk and run on hills and mountains and reach areas without using default pathways. Even in simulation games like The Sims 2, The Sims 3, and The Sims 4 have allowed players to enter and exit rooms without doors using teleport-like abilities.
Grand Theft Auto VI is currently in a bug-fixing phase and hopefully, developers can squash those game-breaking bugs in time. This game is expected to sell tons, perhaps more than what GTA V has accomplished, which is over 200 million copies.
Grand Theft Auto VI is expected to be launched in the holidays of 2025 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
