HATASU AYA: Pleasant to the Eyes, Perfect for Drives

Meet the stylish HATASU AYA and be in awe by its impressive motor, lights and brake system, and comfortable seating.

Are you planning to ride your own ebike soon? Are current choices limited? Look no more because HATASU has the best offer for you and it’s engineered with aesthetics and performance in mind.

This is the HATASU AYA, a two-seater ebike, that’s capable of traversing even rough terrain without much effort. It’s a quiet, comfortable, and battery-friendly ebike for your everyday tasks. Whether it’s about work, school, or grocery list, AYA will accompany you with glee.

Retro Meets Modern

Retro visual and modern functionality make the aesthetic signature of the HATASU AYA, without compromising quality. The body consists of ABS plastic that can last for a long time and can even withstand heat and chemical reactions.

In terms of functionality, HATASU balanced usefulness, convenience, and comfort across the whole body of AYA. The front features the following:

  • Side mirrors
  • Windshield above the dashboard
  • Hand brakes for front and back
  • Signal lights for left and right
  • Headlight
  • Front fender for the front tire
  • Front shock absorber

Moving to the side and middle part of HATASU AYA, you’ll see the seat saddle, grab bar for the passenger, charger socket, footboard, side fairings, side stand, and center stand. While the ebike is cute and compact, get ready for a surprise when you drive it.

The seat saddle is spacious, safe, and secure. You can hold the grab bar comfortably, thanks to the efficient placement. Even the backrest offers support to the passenger without crowding them.

The back consists of the HATASU plate, swing arm cover, rear shock absorber, signal lights, and tail light.

Light Controls

Like other vehicles, the HATASU AYA features two main light systems. You can access the light systems near the throttle controls, aka acceleration. The low and high beam controls are on the left side, along with the blinkers or signal lights. Below these are the Park button and the Horn. You can find the brakes in front of the throttle controls.

On the right is the control for the light mode, which has three modes: full light, running light, and no light. Running lights means that the HATASU AYA is turned on but the light level is dim. Above the light mode control is the speed mode which has three levels; the higher the level, the faster the ebike is.

The rear light system of the ebike sports an arc light and a bar light. These rear lights will react based on your actions. For instance, hitting the brakes will cause the rear lights to illuminate. Turning on the blinkers will cause the left or right portions of the arc light to blink.

Digital Display

The dashboard of the HATASU AYA is placed at the center of the handlebars, protected by the windshield. It displays three important metrics: battery, current speed, and distance.

The odometer accurately monitors your speed and the voltmeters reliably display battery information.

The counter at the bottom indicates how much distance you have traveled. This is useful if you want to measure or estimate the possible distance the ebike can reach for specific battery levels.

For example, you can use the counter to compare the battery level and distance between going to the supermarket and going to school or work.

The 800W Motor

The HATASU AYA is powered by an 800-watt motor and is capable of delivering a speed of up to 45 kilometers per hour. While it isn’t crazy fast like typical motorcycles, this speed is simply perfect for smooth traveling without worrying about overspeeding and accidents. HATASU AYA ensures safety of its driver and passenger with this reasonable speed.

But don’t ever think that the ebike is sluggish when you’re driving. The HATASU AYA is surprisingly light and you won’t feel that you’re just traveling at a max speed of 45 kph. The motor can even climb a slope of between 17 and 20 degrees.

Do keep in mind, however, that the weight of the driver and passenger and road conditions will affect the climb rate of the ebike.

If you’re curious where the motor is, check the rear wheel. It’s the black, round disk attached to the wheel. Don’t worry about the placement because the rear side is sturdy.

Brake System

The HATASU AYA has two different brake types with safety and comfort in mind. No need to worry about toppling over because the front brake is a gentle brute. The front wheel features a disk brake while the rear wheel has a drum brake.

A disk brake uses calipers to press the pads against the disc to create friction. This causes the ebike to stop. Disk brakes are better in the modern world and are less susceptible to heat generated by the friction.

AYA’s disk brake is hydraulic and when you make a complete stop, the wheel has more ground contact even on wet and muddy terrain. A complete stop won’t throw you over but just keep the ebike and you in place. Safe and secure!

Plus, hydraulic brakes are less expensive and better than mechanical brakes.

Meanwhile, a drum brake creates friction using a drum-shaped housing where brake shoes are pressed against the inner surface. While legacy than disk brake, it’s preferred on the rear wheel.

One advantage of a rear drum brake is being less susceptible to corrosion. Another upside is balance.

When you brake, you decelerate and the weight shifts to the front, requiring an effective brake system. The drum brake generates less braking force than the disk brake, preventing the rear wheel from slipping. Remember, HATASU is all about safety.

Sine Wave Controller

To deliver smooth and quiet ride times, HATASU added an upgrade to the motor of the AYA. The sine wave controller cuts down the noise and heat accumulation of the motor, while enhancing performance and maintaining a comfortable riding experience.

Sine wave controllers are designed for precise control where continuous support to the motor leads to stability. Whether the current output changes, the motor is responsive without producing noises or vibrations.

Front Tire Mags

Since the front tire is leading the charge during your road adventures, it’s only right it gets a special treatment. HATASU AYA has aluminum alloy front tire mags for good reasons.

These tire mags deliver a good balance of strength when you’re driving. The alloy also has lightweight properties so you have better steering.

Despite the compact size of the AYA, it feels fast and seemingly glides even on rough terrain. But it doesn’t give that daunting experience associated with acceleration.

Spacious Compartment

Another important thing for riders is the compartment. The two-seater saddle has a spacious compartment for your personal belongings.

As an added option, there’s a hidden hook below the dashboard and this is perfect for bags and other packaging items with a handle. You can place the boxed items inside the compartment and hang up your eco bag onto the hook.

Wide Footboard

If the passenger seat is crucial for companions during road trips, the driver wants excellent footboards. HATASU AYA guarantees owners of a wide footboard where you can place your feet comfortably.

A spacious footboard is essential because it improves balance and stability and reduces foot strain when driving. It also matters when you have to make sharp turns or navigate uneven terrain.

Plus, step nuts are placed at the sides for easy pull in and out. They even give the passenger great balance during travels.

Never settle for rigid footboards and go for HATASU AYA if you want an immaculate driving experience.

Takeaway

HATASU AYA is ideal for students, office workers, and female riders. While most ebikes are designed for men and women, it’s difficult to find models that favor the visual desires of women. If style is paramount, AYA should be on your list.

On top of serving AYA owners of retro-modern blending style, it’s light, compact, and easy to store. It can bring you to your destination comfortably and safely, rain or shine, smooth or rough terrain.

It’s a two-seat caravan with a spacious compartment, an excellent footboard, a snugly passenger seat, and a robust light and brake systems. Look good, ride well, and feel great with AYA!
