The HMD Aura² is another budget-friendly offering from the brand, slated for release next month.
After axing Nokia, HMD has been busy releasing multiple entry-level and mid-range smartphones across various regions. In Australia, the brand is set to launch the HMD Aura² on March 13, according to a report.
If you noticed, the HMD Aura² isn’t unique because it shares the same design language with the HMD Arc, making the former a repurposed of the latter. However, the storage capacity is significantly boosted from 64GB to 256GB plus a microSD slot, allowing users to store many files.

Some of its specs are:
- Unisoc SC9863A processor
- IMG8322 graphics
- 6.52” IPS LCD panel
- 13MP main camera
- 5MP selfie snapper
- 5000mAh battery
- 10W wired charging
- Android 14
These specs are the same with the HMD Arc, even the clock speed. Still, the HMD Aura² features the signature repair-to-yourself feature that allows users to repair the display, back cover, battery, and charging port.
HMD Aura² is expected to be priced at AUD 169 or around PHP 6,200. No announcement of its launch in other regions yet.
