HMD Moon Knight leaks: P-OLED 144Hz display, Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, modular design, aluminum frame

HMD Global, the brand behind Nokia’s resurgence, is gearing up to make a splash in the flagship smartphone market with its upcoming HMD Moon Knight device. While the company has been focusing on budget and mid-range options, the HMD Moon Knight (model TA-1691) promises a high-end experience.

According to leaked specifications, the HMD Moon Knight will feature a P-OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. Although the exact screen size remains undisclosed, it’s expected to be on par with other flagship devices. Under the hood, the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, offering performance comparable to previous top-tier options like the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and 8 Gen 2.

One of the most intriguing aspects of the HMD Moon Knight is its potential modular design. The inclusion of POGO pins suggests the possibility of attaching accessories like cases with additional functionalities, reminiscent of the HMD Fusion. Dual speakers and an aluminum frame further enhance its premium appeal.

In terms of photography, the Moon Knight is rumored to feature a quad-camera setup. While specific details about the sensors and capabilities are still limited, the design is said to be inspired by the iconic Nokia Lumia series. As we await more information and official renders, the Moon Knight’s flagship status and innovative features are generating significant excitement among tech enthusiasts.
