HONOR 400 Lite Incoming? New Listing Reveals Chipset, RAM, and more

HONOR is gearing up to launch its 400 series, and a new leak has just given us a sneak peek at the HONOR 400 Lite. Thanks to a Google Play Console listing, we now have some details on its chipset, RAM, and design. Let’s break it down.

According to the listing, the HONOR 400 Lite will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 chipset. It’s an octa-core processor with two Cortex-A78 cores running at 2.2GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz—basically, it should deliver solid mid-range performance with a focus on efficiency.

The phone is also expected to come with 8GB of RAM (with a possibility of a 12GB version) and will run Android 15 out of the box. While no storage details were confirmed, we can expect at least 128GB or 256GB options based on previous HONOR Lite models.

A render of the phone from the Google Play Console listing shows a design that closely resembles its predecessor, the HONOR 200 Lite. It features a pill-shaped cutout in the display (likely for the selfie camera) and has the usual volume and power buttons on the right side.

The display will have a 1080 x 2412 resolution with a pixel density of 480 dpi. If HONOR follows its usual pattern, this could mean another AMOLED panel with a smooth refresh rate—though this isn’t confirmed yet.

While the leak doesn’t confirm the full specs, we can take an educated guess based on the HONOR 200 Lite. That phone had:

  • Processor: Mediatek Dimensity 6080
  • Screen: 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display
  • Camera: 108MP main camera, 50MP front camera
  • Batter: 4,500mAh battery with 35W fast charging

If the HONOR 400 Lite builds on that, we could see upgrades in battery life, charging speeds, or camera improvements.

HONOR didn’t release a “Lite” model for the HONOR 300 series, so bringing it back now is an interesting move. The 400 Lite seems positioned as a solid budget-midrange option, balancing performance, design, and affordability.

There’s no official release date yet, but with leaks popping up, the official announcement might not be too far away. Stay tuned for more updates!
