HONOR 400 Lite Leaks: Sleek Design, 108MP Camera & A Surprise Button

HONOR’s upcoming mid-range smartphone, the HONOR 400 Lite, has surfaced online through leaked renders, giving us an early look at its design and possible specs before an official announcement. If these leaks hold up, it looks like HONOR is going for a stylish, feature-packed device that could turn heads in the mid-tier market.

Refined design with an iPhone-like shortcut button?

The renders, which originated from a Hungarian retailer, show the HONOR 400 Lite sporting a 6.7-inch display with a pill-shaped cutout for the front camera. While details on the display tech are unconfirmed, an OLED panel seems likely. On the back, the device houses a dual-camera setup positioned neatly in the upper-left corner, alongside an LED flash.

One of the most intriguing parts? The extra button on the right side of the phone, positioned just below the volume rocker and power key. It resembles the iPhone’s Action Button or camera shortcut, hinting at a feature that could offer quick access to essential functions—possibly for photography or shortcuts.

Performance and Software: A solid setup

Under the hood, the HONOR 400 Lite is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 chipset, which should bring 5G connectivity and decent mid-range performance. The Google Play Console listing also suggests it will come with 8GB of RAM and Android 15 out of the box—one of the first HONOR phones to launch with the latest Android version.

Camera: A 108MP shooter in a Lite Package

HONOR seems to be upping the camera game for this model, with rumors pointing to a 108MP primary sensor on the rear. While details on the secondary sensor and front camera are scarce, the main sensor alone suggests that HONOR is pushing for better image quality, even in the mid-range category.

Storage, battery, and pricing

According to the retailer listing, the HONOR 400 Lite will come with 256GB of internal storage. However, there’s no confirmation yet on whether expandable storage is supported. Battery details are also missing, but given its Lite branding, a 5,000mAh capacity with fast charging wouldn’t be surprising.

The phone is expected to launch in Black, Silver, and Turquoise color options, and the leaked listing prices it at around 138,280 HUF ($380 USD).

A solid contender in the Mid-Range Market?

While we’re still waiting for an official launch, the HONOR 400 Lite is shaping up to be an interesting mid-range option, blending a stylish design with a high-resolution camera and modern software. If HONOR nails the pricing and battery life, it could be a great choice for users looking for a balanced device without breaking the bank. Stay tuned for the official reveal, which might be just around the corner.
