Power & Charging Crowned
The HONOR Magic 8 Pro is tipped to house a massive 7,200mAh battery, a capacity that would lead the flagship segment. To complement this, HONOR has confirmed blistering charging speeds: 120W wired charging and a rumored 80W wireless charging. The base HONOR Magic 8 is also an endurance contender with a rumored 7,000mAh battery and 90W wired support.
Snapdragon and Dedicated AI
Both the HONOR Magic 8 and HONOR Magic 8 Pro will run on the confirmed Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, which early benchmarks show delivers a roughly 20% performance jump. HONOR is integrating this power with a “Dual-Engine” AI strategy, evidenced by the rumored inclusion of a dedicated physical AI button on the Pro model.
Camera: Zoom Focus

HONOR is prioritizing telephoto power with a confirmed 200MP periscope telephoto lens (85mm equivalent), aiming to offer best-in-class zoom capabilities. The overall imaging system is expected to include a 50MP main and 50MP ultrawide, augmented by the unique “Magic Color” system, which uses on-device AI for advanced color and image processing. The Proโs visuals will be delivered on a high-end, 6.71-inch micro-quad-curved 1.5K LTPO OLED display.
