The HONOR Magic8 Pro is now officially rolling out to global markets, starting with Malaysia, and it arrives with serious firepower. This is a device that wants to compete at the absolute top by offering raw performance, aggressive camera hardware, and a battery that feels more like a power bank built into a phone.

Performance powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5
The Magic8 Pro is built on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. This chip represents one of the biggest leaps in processing power for Android this year. It comes with a strong CPU, a capable Adreno 840 GPU, and a next generation NPU that handles AI workloads.
HONOR pairs the chipset with MagicOS 10, based on Android 16. There is also a dedicated AI button that activates HONOR Yoyo. The assistant handles device automation, search, and voice commands. Gaming, multitasking, and heavy content creation feel smooth and consistent under this setup.
A 200 MP telephoto camera that aims high
The highlight is the triple camera system on the back. The Magic8 Pro uses a 200 MP telephoto sensor with optical zoom up to 3.7 times and digital zoom up to 100 times. The main camera is a 50 MP large sensor with optical image stabilization, and the ultrawide camera is another 50 MP unit.
Up front, users get a 50 MP selfie shooter paired with a 3D depth sensor. HONOR also includes its AiMAGE processing engine for better night shots, sharper zoom, and improved stabilization. The setup is designed to give users high quality images in both daylight and low light.
Large battery, bright display, and rugged protection
The global version carries a 7,100 mAh battery with 100 watt wired and 80 watt wireless charging. The Chinese version offers a slightly larger 7,200 mAh pack with faster wired charging, but the global model remains one of the largest batteries in any flagship device today.
The display is a 6.71 inch LTPO OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a 120 hertz refresh rate. Peak brightness reaches up to 6,000 nits, which makes it easy to use outdoors even under harsh sunlight.
The Magic8 Pro also comes with IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for water and dust protection. It includes both an in display ultrasonic fingerprint reader and a 3D depth sensor for secure face unlock.

The Magic8 Pro is now available for pre order in Malaysia. The 12 GB plus 512 GB model is priced at 4,599 Malaysian Ringgit, which converts to about PHP 65,000.
