HONOR has officially launched the Magic8 Pro in the Gulf Cooperation Council region, marking the next global rollout of its flagship smartphone. The launch event took place in the United Arab Emirates with pre-orders kicking off on December 11, 2025. HONOR confirmed that availability will expand to other markets in the coming weeks as part of its global launch strategy.
Magic8 Pro Specifications
The Magic8 Pro stands out with its 200-megapixel Ultra Night Telephoto camera, offering optical zoom and advanced night photography capabilities. This sensor works with HONOR’s AI Ultra Night Portrait mode to deliver clearer images in low light and balanced color output. The phone also packs other AI camera tools to help enhance photos and creative edits on the device.
The display is a large 6.71-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support, promising vivid color and smooth motion. HONOR says the screen can reach up to 6,000 nits of peak brightness, which should make it highly viewable even in bright conditions. Core performance is driven by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Connectivity options include advanced 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and more.
One of the headline features is the 7100mAh silicon-carbon battery, which promises long endurance and supports 100W wired charging along with 80W wireless charging. This combination should keep the phone powered through heavy use and refill the battery quickly when needed. The phone also offers water and dust resistance with a comprehensive IP68, IP69, and IP69K rating.
Pricing and Availability
In the UAE, the HONOR Magic8 Pro is priced at AED 3,999 (approximately ₱63,000) for the 12GB RAM with 512GB storage version. It is available in Sunrise Gold, Sky Cyan, and Black. A higher tier 16GB RAM with 1TB storage model carries a price tag of AED 4,699 (approximately ₱74,000) and comes in Sunrise Gold and Black. Pre-orders began on December 11, 2025, with availability through the HONOR Online Store and major retailers.
