The HONOR Power 2, successor to last year’s endurance-focused HONOR Power, is shaping up as one of the most talked-about battery-centric smartphones ahead of its expected early 2026 launch in China.
Recent leaks have revealed key specs including the display, chipset, battery, cameras, and color options, giving us a solid look at what HONOR is planning for this powerhouse phone.

HONOR Power 2 leaked specs

According to trusted leaks, the HONOR Power 2 will sport a flat-design 6.79-inch OLED LTPS display with a 1.5K resolution (2640 × 1200), delivering sharp visuals across apps, media, and games. While details about the refresh rate are still unconfirmed, the large panel sets the stage for an immersive viewing experience.
Under the hood, the Power 2 is tipped to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset, a mid-range to upper-mid-range SoC that should deliver solid performance for everyday tasks, multitasking, and even some light 3D gaming. Coupled with this chipset, HONOR is expected to balance performance with energy efficiency. Critical for a phone with such a huge battery.
The headline spec here is the 10,080 mAh battery, one of the largest ever leaked for a mainstream smartphone and a significant jump from the 8,000 mAh pack in the original HONOR Power. The Power 2 is also rumoured to support 80W wired fast charging, which should help refill the massive cell quickly when needed. The use of advanced silicon-carbon battery technology may allow this huge capacity without making the phone excessively bulky.
On the imaging front, leaks suggest a 50 MP primary rear camera paired with a 16 MP front shooter, covering everyday photography and selfie needs. While details on additional rear lenses haven’t surfaced yet, the main sensors align with HONOR’s approach to offering capable optics without pushing into flagship camera territory.
The HONOR Power 2 is expected to be offered in three colourways: Snow White, Midnight Black, and Sunrise Orange, giving buyers both classic and bold options. Launch timelines point toward before the Chinese Spring Festival in early 2026, although HONOR has yet to confirm an exact date.
If these leaks prove accurate, the HONOR Power 2 will stand out in the market primarily for its huge 10,080 mAh battery and fast charging support, backed by a balance of performance and a large, high-resolution display. While not positioned as a flagship killer, it could appeal strongly to users who prioritize battery life and endurance above everything else.
As always with leaks, final specs and pricing may differ upon official unveiling, but the early picture shows HONOR pushing the envelope when it comes to battery capacity in mainstream smartphones.
