HONOR is preparing two very different flagship lineups for the next smartphone cycle. While the upcoming Magic 9 series is expected to focus heavily on photography, the rumored HONOR Win 2 lineup is shaping up as the brand’s answer to the growing demand for performance driven gaming phones.

According to a new leak from Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station, the Win 2 series could arrive with a hardware combination that no other brand may offer this year.

The biggest detail from the leak centers around the chipset and battery pairing.

The HONOR Win 2 series is rumored to feature Qualcomm’s next generation 2nm flagship processor, believed to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, alongside a massive 10,000mAh battery.

According to the tipster, this combination may remain exclusive to HONOR for quite some time, potentially giving the company a unique position in the high performance flagship segment.

The Win 2 lineup is also expected to retain the active cooling approach from the original Win series.

A built in cooling fan is rumored for the upcoming devices, reinforcing the gaming focused direction of the lineup. The tipster also claims that the series could launch earlier than initially expected in China.

Once released, the phones are expected to compete directly with devices such as the OnePlus 16, iQOO 16, and the REDMI K100 series.

HONOR’s broader flagship strategy appears split between two audiences.

The Magic 9 series is expected to launch around October and focus on photography features, while the Win 2 series may arrive later in the year with gaming and sustained performance as its core identity.
