A new leak suggests the upcoming HONOR X80 GT may push smartphone battery capacity to a new level. Reports indicate the device could feature a battery of around 13,080mAh, potentially setting a record among mainstream smartphones.
If the rumor proves accurate, the HONOR X80 GT would surpass many current smartphones by a wide margin. Most flagship devices today typically carry batteries between 4,500mAh and 5,000mAh, while even battery-focused phones rarely exceed the 6,000–7,000mAh range.
HONOR has already experimented with larger batteries in recent models. Devices such as the HONOR Power 2 and the HONOR Win series feature batteries around 10,000mAh, showing the company’s focus on long battery life. The rumored 13,080mAh unit would represent another significant step beyond those devices.
